Spotted this one this morning. From the temp tag it appears to have been sold in the last few days. According to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! they sold 14 in August and 5 in September. Also, note child seat in the back. This person is parenting right.

Not if you’re in Canada. And dealers around the border are VERY hesitant to sell new to Canadians, especially when the dollar was par. Probably pressure from the manufacturers.

Yes. Except for 2017 Orange Blast is being offered which would also be temping to me. Here it is on the Holden (was also a Pontiac G8 color a few years back.)

Didn’t GM pull the rug out from under Canada with these? I seem to remember something like they brought them to the Toronto auto show then announced 2 days later that it wouldn’t be coming to Canada or some bullshit like that.

Considering how rare these are (I think under 10,000 over 3 years so far), the do seem to be driven around a lot. I’ve seen several. That bright red color is pretty awesome.

I think GM is purposely keeping inventory and sales low by limiting production and not advertising. Not saying it would sell great if they uncorked it a bit, but it’s like they are purposely not selling many SS’s. Not sure of the logic.

It was a nice color, yeah. Looks like the same red that was on the G8 (which makes sense since they’re different generations of the same car), which I like. I think it’s the 4th or 5th SS I’ve seen, but the first that wasn’t white or silver.

GM has had a stop sale on these for a while because of a lack of parts for a seatbelt tensioner recall iirc, that probably has something to do with the September sales

Also some of these are/were on sale for 20% off MSRP, ten grand off would make this a hell of a buy

Interesting. Those sales seemed oddly low even for this. Considering this one appears to have been just sold in the last few days, maybe the order was lifted. Or maybe the dealer let it escape.
